Job description
We are looking for a IT Assistant to provide on-site and remote IT support across multiple care homes. You will be responsible for installing and maintaining equipment, supporting staff with technical issues, and ensuring systems remain secure, reliable, and fully operational., * Provide on-site technical support, including equipment installation and staff training.
- Deliver remote telephone support, explaining technical issues clearly to non-technical users
- Support and maintain hardware, software, printers, scanners, networks, and secure print solutions.
- Manage Windows 11, mobile devices, tablets, and Apple iPads deployment and maintenance.
- Support VoIP communication systems, including installation and maintenance of 3CX phones.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting for computer, network, and software issues across multiple sites.
- Investigate root causes of incidents and support service improvement initiatives.
- Assist with software updates, licensing compliance, and infrastructure security.
- Support projects, knowledgebase documentation, and provide team cover during busy periods.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in VoIP?, * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Highly organised with strong time management and SLA performance focus.
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Positive, growth-minded, and results-focused approach.
Working Requirements:
- Standard hours: 09:00 - 17:30, with flexibility for projects, system upgrades, and urgent support.
- Full UK Driving Licence required.
- No sponsorship available.
- CompTIA A+ / Network+ certifications are desirable but not essential.
