The IT Change & Transition Lead governs the IT change management process, ensuring that all changes to IT services are assessed, approved, and implemented with minimal risk to business operations. In parallel, the role oversees the smooth transition of new or modified services into operations, ensuring that they are fully supported, documented, and operationally ready.
Acting as the bridge between projects, vendors, and operational teams, the role safeguards service stability while enabling the reliable and controlled introduction of new technologies and services.
What will you do:
As an IT Change & Transition Lead at Landal your tasks & responsibilities include:
IT Change Management
- Own and manage the IT Change Management process, ensuring all changes are properly assessed, authorised, prioritised, and scheduled;
- Lead Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure changes are evaluated effectively and implemented with minimal risk;
- Ensure risk and impact assessments are completed for all changes, including those initiated by external vendors;
- Monitor and report on key change KPIs such as success rate, failed changes, incident impact, and overall process performance;
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve the change management process, enhancing efficiency, compliance, and service stability.
IT Transition Management
- Plan and coordinate the smooth transition of new or modified IT services, vendors, or solutions into operational use, ensuring readiness across all teams;
- Validate operational readiness by reviewing documentation, support models, and knowledge transfer materials before go-live;
- Work closely with project teams and vendors to define clear acceptance criteria and ensure a controlled handover to operations;
- Maintain the service transition framework and ensure alignment with ITIL principles and Landal's internal standards;
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement for future transitions;
- Produce clear and timely reporting on transition progress, change performance, risks, and improvement actions;
- Act as the key link between projects, vendors, and operational teams to safeguard service continuity and minimise business disruption.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of IT experience, with 3-5 years in transition, service management and/or change management roles;
- A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience;
- ITIL v4 certification foundation required, Change Management or Service Transition is a plus;
- Strong knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) processes and their application in live operations;
- Experience managing transitions of IT services, vendors, or major technology implementations;
- Familiarity with service improvement initiatives and driving KPI-based enhancements in IT operations;
- Good understanding of IT systems, software development processes, and strong understanding of IT change management processes and governance in enterprise environments;
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally, coordinating between projects and operations;
- Good knowledge and experience working within agile frameworks;
- Excellent analytical skills to assess product performance, user needs, and market opportunities;
- Experience managing risks, impact assessments, and ensuring operational readiness for IT changes;
- Ability to build relationships that support fulfilment of role objective.

- A full-time employment contract at Landal has a 38-hour working week, which is equivalent to a 5-day working week. If you have a part-time employment contract, your salary and vacation days are calculated pro rata.
