Job description
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in IT and wants to develop real, hands-on experience supporting systems, users, and technology within a growing business. You will be part of our small Technology team, working alongside our Technical Lead and supporting colleagues across the business with day-to-day IT needs. You will gain experience in:
- Supporting users with systems, devices, and software
- Working with platforms such as Microsoft 365
- Helping to maintain and improve IT systems and processes
- Supporting the rollout of new tools and technologies
- Learning how IT supports business operations and growth
The role is set up to give you room to develop. You'll build your knowledge and confidence over time, learning by being involved in real work and supported as you grow.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll support a range of IT activities across the business, including:
- Providing first-line support to colleagues for day-to-day IT issues and queries
- Helping to diagnose and resolve routine technical problems
- Supporting the setup of user accounts, devices, and access permissions
- Assisting with laptops, mobile devices, and other IT equipment
- Supporting systems such as Microsoft 365 and related tools
- Helping to maintain accurate records of devices, users, and systems
- Supporting the rollout of new systems, tools, and updates
- Assisting with documentation such as user guides and internal processes
- Working with colleagues across the business to understand and resolve issues
You won't be expected to know everything from day one. You'll pick things up as you go, that's all part of your development.
About you:
This role is aimed at someone at the start of their IT career, or someone who's looking to move into IT and build a career in it. You might be:
- Leaving college or university
- Looking for your first IT or office-based role
- Interested in moving into IT from another role

It would be helpful (but not essential) if you:
- Have some experience using IT systems or supporting others with technology
- Have used Microsoft 365 or similar tools
- Have an interest in how systems, devices, or networks work
- Have worked in an office, or customer-facing environment
