Job description

We're looking for an IT Support Technician to provide hands-on, onsite support for staff in a clinical and office environment. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys being visible, helping people in person, and keeping day-to-day technology running smoothly.

This is a 6month contract-to-hire opportunity with a strong likelihood of conversion for someone who brings a good attitude, solid troubleshooting skills, and a customer first mindset.

In this role, you'll support clinical and administrative staff with everyday IT needs - from workstation and printer issues to basic connectivity problems. You'll spend most of your time resolving issues directly with users, setting up equipment, and making sure systems are working as expected so staff can focus on their work.

You'll also assist with practical, hands-on tasks such as staging and deploying equipment, checking Wi-Fi coverage, verifying cabling, and tracking IT assets across locations. During onboarding or go-live periods, you'll provide additional onsite support to help things run smoothly. This is not a call-center role - it's a true, onsite support position.

Requirements

We're looking for someone with 2-5 years of experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, or Help Desk roles who's comfortable working with computer hardware, Windows systems, printers, and common office software. Basic networking knowledge (Wi-Fi, switches, access points) is helpful, but advanced networking experience isn't required.

The ideal candidate communicates clearly, documents their work well, and enjoys helping users who may not be particularly technical. Experience using ticketing systems is expected, along with the ability to train end users when needed.

This role offers a consistent weekday schedule, no expected overtime, and a clear opportunity to transition into a long-term position.

If you enjoy solving problems, working hands-on with technology, and being the go-to IT support person onsite, this could be a great fit.
