Job description

Hands-on desktop, endpoint, and clinical workstation support for a major new hospital buildout, ensuring operational readiness, deployment accuracy, and environment stabilization across all clinical and administrative areas., · Provide Tier 1/Tier 2 support for all clinical workstations, COWs/WOWs, thin clients, kiosks, specialty carts, imaging workstations, and clinical endpoints.

· Perform workstation imaging using SCCM/MECM, MDT, or other deployment tools; validate GPO applications, domain joins, driver packages, and post-image configuration.

· Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot clinical applications including EHR clients (Epic Hyperspace, Cerner apps), PACS viewers, VDI clients, barcode medication administration tools, and bedside applications.

· Support clinical workflows by validating workstation performance for charting, imaging review, medication scanning, specimen labeling, and order entry.

· Troubleshoot connectivity issues involving DHCP, DNS, AD authentication, wired/wireless profiles, certificate-based authentication, and VLAN misassignments.

· Validate RTLS-enabled assets and clinical mobility devices, ensuring tags, tracking, and integrations operate correctly on new infrastructure.

· Support Citrix Workspace/VDI: profile resets, session analysis, ICA latency checks, printer routing, and connection broker validation.

· Install and validate clinical peripherals: label printers, laser printers, badge readers, signature pads, barcode scanners, medication scanners, and biometric devices.

· Perform hardware break/fix: SSD swaps, RAM replacement, motherboard troubleshooting, battery replacement for COWs/WOWs, and peripheral calibration.

· Perform workstation deployment across inpatient units, ORs, ED, ICU, sterile cores, clinics, and specialty areas following healthcare compliance and infection control processes.

· Coordinate with network, application, storage, and server teams to escalate complex issues requiring cross-functional resolution.

· Maintain asset inventory, update CMDB entries, tag new equipment, validate serial numbers, and track deployment status.

· Execute go-live support during phased hospital openings, providing rapid-response floor support and escalations.

· Document SOPs, troubleshooting guides, build sheets, imaging procedures, and workstation configuration standards.

· Support HIPAA/HITECH-compliant endpoint security practices, including encryption, MFA, access control, and PHI-safe workstation use.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, · Experience supporting clinical workstations and healthcare endpoint environments.

· Strong knowledge of Windows OS, AD, SCCM/MECM, Group Policy, and clinical workstation imaging.

· Familiarity with EHR clients, PACS viewers, VDI solutions, and clinical peripheral troubleshooting.

· Understanding of healthcare workflow requirements, including charting, medication admin, imaging, and clinical mobility.

· Knowledge of hospital compliance standards including HIPAA, HITECH, and proper handling of PHI on endpoints.
