Desktop Support Technician

This position will provide IT support for our client in Cedar Rapids. Their labs serve as a workspace for a variety of engineering activities. The client landscape includes a variety of current and legacy technology including; Windows, Red Hat, Ubuntu, Solaris systems and accompanying hardware. Lab systems adhere to strict Government regulations and team members must operate in accordance with Corporate policies.

Desktop, Troubleshooting, windows, linux, Required: High school diploma or equivalent, Government Security Clearance is a nice to have but not required.

Candidate should have at least 2+ years med/large enterprise experience in at least two of the following:

-Client computer hardware support

-Customer service

-Windows (XP or newer OS)

Preferred Experience:

-Linux Operating Systems

This is a Contract position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
