Job description

  • Design, develop, and test embedded hardware and firmware for manufacturing automation and control systems.
  • Implement and optimize real-time operating systems (RTOS) and device drivers for production machinery.
  • Troubleshoot and debug embedded system issues on the factory floor to minimize production downtime.
  • Integrate embedded solutions with existing Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), SCADA, and MES systems.
  • Develop and execute rigorous test plans for embedded systems to ensure robust performance and quality in manufacturing environments.
  • Provide technical support and training to manufacturing and maintenance teams for embedded equipment.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of embedded systems, from prototyping and pilot runs to mass production deployment and maintenance.

By joining our network, you position yourself for opportunities aligned with your career goals., * Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems, including real-time operating systems (RTOS) on microcontrollers (e.g., ARM Cortex-M).

  • Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, CAN, EtherCAT, PROFINET) and sensor/actuator integration.
  • Strong understanding of hardware-software integration, including reading schematics, debugging with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers, and board bring-up.
  • Familiarity with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT) principles for production environments.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex embedded system issues on a manufacturing line., * Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, EtherCAT, PROFINET, OPC UA)
  • Familiarity with PLC programming (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Allen-Bradley Studio 5000)
  • Understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts and IoT architectures for manufacturing environments
  • Hands-on experience with production line integration, testing, or troubleshooting
  • Experience with safety-critical embedded systems design (e.g., IEC 61508), Embedded Systems Engineer, Embedded Software Engineer, Firmware Engineer, Embedded Developer, IoT Engineer, Embedded Hardware Engineer, RTOS Engineer, Device Driver Engineer, Embedded C/C++ Developer, Systems Engineer
