IT Systems Administrator - Manistee Area job in Manistee

• Manage and maintain server infrastructure (physical and virtual) crucial for manufacturing operations.
• Ensure the reliability and performance of critical production systems and applications.
• Implement and monitor security measures to protect manufacturing data and intellectual property.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IT systems across production facilities.
• Administer and optimize network infrastructure supporting factory automation and control systems.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in IT systems administration, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proven experience managing and maintaining Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Group Policies.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless technologies.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and storage solutions (SAN/NAS).
• Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT) environments is a plus.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA or other industrial control systems.
• Familiarity with ISA-95 or similar manufacturing IT frameworks.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for operational technology (OT) environments.
• Experience supporting ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
