Job description
- Develop and direct preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing systems tests and evaluate results against specifications, requirements, and operational needs and acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints
- Analyze, evaluate, and document test data and results
- Assess COTS and GOTS equipment specifications for use in operational environments
- Present results to senior leaders for decisions to protect operational missions worldwide
- Attend meetings and conduct interviews to in develop studies and final reports
- Ensure test adequacy by developing test methodologies, scenarios, and data collection plans
- Assists in the execution of test events and data collection
- Produce test reports in accordance with established organizational standards
- Perform technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations
- Prepare recommendations and participate in discussions to evaluate and determine the adequacy of designs
- Assist in producing and briefing study results
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Support other analysts as needed to consolidate test results
- Lead a team or work as a data collector for another team when necessary to support a test
- Integrate and organize these test results into complete and refined reports
Requirements
- 5 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's in related field, or 3 years of relevant experience with a master's in related field, or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years of relevant experience
- Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI
- Strong self-motivation and self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to review, produce, define, with the customer, the operational critical requirements, document, and then design a test that determines performance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Ability to work multiple projects, handle schedule changes and short suspense tasks
- Experience in RF, cellular, cyber, and networking technologies with a desire to learn new technology
Preferred: Bonus Points For...
- Special Operations background with previous experience conducting Combat Evaluations
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly understand new technology, resolve complex problems, overcome human and technical obstacles
- Electrical Engineering experience
- Demonstrated experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI), Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (CUAS), or Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), including application in operational, research, or technical environments
- EOD, or CBRN experience
- Experience working with multi-level classified information systems in a secure office environment
- National Guard or Reserve Special Operations Forces, Capable of operating in office, industrial, shipboard, and field environments. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variance for long durations. Ability to hike up and downhill while carrying up to 25 lbs. of specialized equipment including improved and non-improved surfaces. Lifting and moving of materials not to exceed the guidelines set for one person lift.
