Embedded Software Test Engineer

• Develop and execute firmware verification and validation tests for embedded medical device software
• Design, debug, and test embedded software written in C/C++ and Python
• Create and maintain test documentation, requirements, reports, and defect tracking records
• Verify software and system requirements through structured testing and engineering best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and compliance

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of embedded software/firmware testing experience
• Strong C/C++ and Python programming skills
• Experience with embedded firmware verification & validation (V&V) testing
• Background in a regulated industry (medical device preferred; aerospace/automotive acceptable)
• Strong communication and technical leadership skills

• Experience with firmware unit and integration testing
• Familiarity with regulated development environments and quality standards
