Job description

We are seeking a hands-on HRIS Business Analyst / HR Technology Generalist to provide functional and technical support across HR systems during a period of increased project activity. This individual will partner closely with HR stakeholders and IT to support system enhancements, troubleshoot production issues, document business processes, and assist with ongoing HR technology initiatives. The ideal candidate is a resourceful, self-directed professional with strong analytical skills and broad experience supporting HR applications across multiple functional areas., * Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and system requirements for HR technology initiatives.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between HR business partners, IT teams, and third-party vendors to ensure successful delivery of system enhancements and issue resolution.
  • Support day-to-day HRIS operations by investigating production issues, identifying root causes, and coordinating timely resolutions.
  • Assist with system enhancements, configuration changes, and continuous process improvements across HR applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system changes and new functionality.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflow diagrams, and knowledge base articles.
  • Create and maintain reports, queries, dashboards, and other HR-related reporting solutions.
  • Develop training materials and provide knowledge transfer to HR team members and end users.
  • Support multiple HR functional areas, including employee data, talent, recruiting, onboarding, compensation, payroll, benefits, and other HR operations as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business processes and recommend technology solutions that improve efficiency and the employee experience.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as an HRIS Analyst, HR Technology Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar HR systems support role.
  • Experience supporting HR applications and HR business processes in a corporate environment.
  • Strong skills in requirements gathering, business process analysis, documentation, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting system enhancements, production support, and end-user issue resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with HR stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with PeopleSoft HRMS/HCM is preferred but not required.
  • Exposure to Benefits administration and other HR functional areas is a plus.
  • Experience supporting HR system implementations, upgrades, or optimization initiatives.
  • Familiarity with HR reporting, SQL queries, or reporting tools is beneficial.
  • Experience creating training documentation and facilitating user adoption efforts.
