Job description

We are seeking an experienced IT Sourcing Consultant to join the Sourcing and Supplier Management team. This role is responsible for independently leading the development and execution of sourcing strategies for assigned IT projects while assisting stakeholders in addressing complex business and technology needs.The ideal candidate will manage the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle, including solicitation development, proposal evaluation, supplier negotiations, contract execution, and risk mitigation. This position requires strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and negotiation skills to ensure successful project outcomes and long-term supplier partnerships., * Lead and manage the full sourcing lifecycle for assigned IT procurement projects.

  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Create solicitation documents including RFPs, RFQs, and related procurement materials.
  • Evaluate supplier proposals and facilitate vendor selection processes.
  • Develop and execute negotiation strategies with selected suppliers to achieve optimal business outcomes.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement risk mitigation strategies throughout the sourcing process.
  • Draft, review, and support execution of contracts that protect organizational interests and ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide sourcing guidance and recommendations.
  • Manage customer expectations through proactive, effective, and timely communication.
  • Ensure project deliverables are completed within established timelines and quality standards.
  • Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships and support ongoing supplier performance management activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in IT sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or strategic sourcing.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing methodologies, contract negotiation, and supplier management practices.
  • Experience leading competitive solicitation processes such as RFPs and RFQs.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead multiple sourcing initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities., * Experience within enterprise IT procurement environments.
  • Knowledge of contract and risk management principles.
  • Professional certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, PMP, or related procurement certifications are a plus.
