Job description

We’re seeking an IT Help Desk Support with strong server knowledge and hands-on technical troubleshooting experience to support a busy manufacturing facility on 2nd shift. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical issues, supporting production operations, and working with both end users and critical IT infrastructure. You’ll be a key member of the onsite IT team, providing advanced help desk support while assisting with server administration, network troubleshooting, and hardware support across the facility., * Provide Help Desk support for hardware, software, network, and server-related issues.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated desktop, laptop, printer, and connectivity problems.
  • Build, configure, deploy, and maintain Windows servers while assisting with server administration and maintenance.
  • Support and troubleshoot network connectivity issues, working with switches, Active Directory, and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Install, configure, and support Windows 11 workstations and Microsoft applications.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and security through Active Directory.
  • Utilize ServiceNow to document, prioritize, and resolve support requests.
  • Support and troubleshoot production and office printing environments, including Xerox printers. Experience with Zebra and Brady label printers is a plus.
  • Assist with PC imaging, deployments, upgrades, and IT asset management.
  • Provide onsite technical support for both office personnel and manufacturing floor employees.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of IT Support or Help Desk experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments, including building, configuring, and supporting servers.
  • Solid understanding of network troubleshooting, TCP/IP, switches, and connectivity issues.
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and ServiceNow.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and production technology.
  • Experience supporting Xerox printers is required; familiarity with Zebra and Brady printers is preferred.
  • Manufacturing IT experience is a plus but not required.
