Senior AI Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you build and scale agentic AI capabilities within the TeamViewer ecosystem, delivering secure, reliable AI-enabled features. You will work cross-functionally to define evaluation criteria, manage model context and retrieval strategies, and drive production-readiness with performance controls. You will help shape how agents call tools, reason across tasks, and ensure quality through systematic iteration. This is an impactful position at a scale where AI accelerates digital workplace outcomes, impacting millions of users and hundreds of thousands of customers. Compensation / Benefits * Build agentic capabilities for agentic ecosystem, including orchestration, tool use, retrieval, memory and multi-step task execution * Define quality criteria, create datasets, and use evaluation results to guide releases * Engineer model context via retrieval, chunking, ranking, caching, and prompt assembly * Improve quality through iteration on prompts, tool design, model selection, and orchestration patterns * Bring AI capabilities to production, managing latency, cost, rate limits, fallback behavior and quality drift * Collaborate with product management, security, and platform teams to deliver secure AI-enabled features * Apply fine-tuning or smaller specialized models where evaluation supports it * Maintain strong team context, tooling and delivery practices in agent-first engineering * Operate within a multi-agent architecture and ensure governance and reliability Tasks * 8+ years of industry experience with strong Python expertise * Proven track record building production systems * Hands-on experience with model-based and agentic systems in production (tool calling, retrieval, orchestration, multi-agent architectures) * Ability to define quality criteria, build evaluation frameworks, interpret results and identify failure modes * Data-driven approach to prompt and context engineering with retrieval and tooling * Understanding of AI model landscape and cost/latency/reliability trade-offs * Working knowledge of MCP or comparable tool protocols and security implications of giving tools access to enterprise systems * Experience with AI coding agents and ensuring correctness, security and maintainability * Deep understanding of AI failure modes (hallucinations, context degradation, prompt injection, non-determinism) and mitigation * Strong communication skills and collaboration across diverse teams in EMEA Key requirements * Competitive compensation and bonuses * Flexible PTO and paid holidays * 401(k) with employer matching * Health insurance package with employer-paid medical coverage * Parental Leave up to 12 weeks * Life Insurance and Disability coverage
