Experteer Overview In this role you will help scale spacecraft hardware production with a strong emphasis on reliability and quality. You will partner with design and manufacturing teams to ensure verified, dependable hardware at high volume. You will lead, support, and document failures and mitigations across design reviews, qualification tests, and regulatory deliverables. You will work across Mission Assurance and Quality to strengthen overall reliability and risk posture. This position offers a chance to help build the in-space infrastructure that enables space-enabled life-improving products. Compensation / Benefits * Partner with design engineering and manufacturing to create test, manufacturability, and inspection plans for all vehicle hardware * Contain non-conforming product and guide quality inspectors, technicians, shop supervisors, and engineers * Lead failure investigations in production, test, and operation and implement root-cause mitigations * Provide peer review of hardware during design reviews and acceptance/qualification test campaigns * Perform FMEA, develop compliance matrices, ensure test coverage and manufacturability of flight hardware * Own vehicle-level deliverables for regulatory compliance, hazard analyses, and verification evidence * Support Mission Assurance’s risk management and mitigation tracking Tasks * 3+ years of aerospace, design, quality, or related engineering experience * Bachelor’s degree in one of the specified engineering fields * Experience applying process controls in high-volume manufacturing, test, and quality environments * Strong computer skills with experience in a programming language * Experience generating or analyzing production data * Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with a drive to improve reliability Key requirements * Health & Wellness: 100% company-paid Medical, Dental, Vision insurance for employees and dependents * Flexible PTO and 12 paid holidays * Equity incentives * 401(k) with 6% employer match * Relocation support * Gym/fitness reimbursement
