Job description

Experteer Overview As Senior Electrical Superintendent, you will lead electrical field operations to align subcontractors and trades with the master schedule, ensuring quality and progress. You will mentor and guide field teams, interpret plans and specs, and drive safety and efficiency on infrastructure projects across the US. The role combines hands-on coordination with schedule-driven leadership to deliver on project milestones in a safety-conscious environment. This position offers exposure to large-scale industrial and energy projects within MasTec’s Cleanup Energy & Infrastructure group, with significant travel. Compensation / Benefits * Lead and coordinate a team of superintendents, field engineers, and staff * Administer permits and control documentation * Review subcontractor scopes and ensure alignment with project plans * Coordinate safety meetings and oversee project safety compliance * Control project access and traffic management * Manage tool/equipment inventory, rental coordination * Schedule and document project testing (concrete, soil, etc.) * Communicate progress with PM, PCM, and PFE; monitor subcontractor performance * Prepare and update 2-3 week look-ahead and master schedule with PCM * Generate Daily Log Reports (Procore) and maintain As-Built drawings * Coordinate inspections, close-out documentation, and quality control of materials/equipment * Oversee site layout and benchmark control Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field is preferred * minimum 6 years’ experience as an electrical Superintendent (or 10+ years if no degree) * project scheduling, planning, organization and document control skills * strong communication and organizational abilities for managing subcontractors and inspectors * OSHA certification and knowledge of safety standards * experience with Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling/document tools * preferred: 10+ years as electrical Superintendent, MS Project or Primavera P6, projects >$20M * bilingual English/Spanish (nice-to-have) * willingness to travel across the US Key requirements * compensation $120k-$150k+ * 401(k) with company match & ESPP * Health, Dental, Vision insurance * flexible spending account * paid time off and holidays * military leave and disability coverage
