Cisco Network Security Engineer/ Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview As a Senior Consultant, you design, deploy, and optimize Cisco security solutions to protect client networks. You collaborate with cross-functional teams in Deloitte’s Cyber group to deliver scalable, secure architectures that align with business goals. You’ll tackle complex threat environments, integrate with SIEM and automation, and help clients move toward resilient, secure digital operations. This role offers impact across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments with a clear transformation focus. Compensation / Benefits * Design, deploy, and manage Cisco FTD and FMC across enterprise environments (physical, virtual, cloud) * Implement and support Cisco ISE capabilities including 802.1X NAC, profiling, guest lifecycle, TrustSec, and identity store integration * Configure and tune advanced Cisco security features (IPS, malware protection, URL filtering, DNS-based security, SSL/TLS decryption) * Deploy and integrate Cisco Secure Firewall in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) with centralized policy management * Develop client-facing security architectures; integrate Cisco platforms with SIEM and automation solutions; provide recommendations aligning tech, compliance, and business goals * Lead projects or workstreams and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment * Provide clear guidance to others Tasks * BA/BS in a technical field * CCNP Security or CCIE Security certification * 5+ years in network security engineering with Cisco technologies * 5+ years designing, deploying, and managing Cisco FTD/FMC in enterprise environments (physical, virtual, cloud) * 5+ years designing and implementing Cisco ISE (distributed nodes, high availability, patch management, upgrades) * 3+ years ISE 802.1X NAC, guest lifecycle, profiling, TrustSec, and Cisco security capabilities (IPS, malware, URL filtering, DNS security, SSL/TLS decryption, cloud deployments in AWS/Azure/GCP) * Ability to travel up to 50% * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements *
