Cyber Data Protection/PKI Specialist Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview In this Senior Consultant role, you will advise clients on data protection and encryption, design and operate PKI solutions, and drive secure key management across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. You will lead delivery, guide cross-functional teams, and stay ahead of emerging encryption tech and industry trends. Your work helps clients strengthen their cyber posture and reduce data risk at scale. This role offers meaningful client impact within Deloitte’s Cyber Strategy & Transformation team. Compensation / Benefits * Provide SME guidance on data protection, encryption requirements, and secure key management * Design, implement, and operate encryption strategies and PKI lifecycles across environments * Monitor and maintain PKI health to prevent downtime and security breaches * Lead client engagements: execution, updates, and delivery quality * Track project timelines and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery * Stay current on emerging encryption technologies and industry trends * Evaluate and recommend new tools and solutions to enhance data security Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in relevant field * 5+ years in data protection and information security * 5+ years with PKI concepts and certificate lifecycle management * 2+ years implementing encryption technologies and cloud encryption concepts * 2+ years developing data protection strategies and roadmaps * 2+ years hands-on with CLM platforms (e.g., AppViewX, Venafi, Keyfactor, DigiCert) * 2+ years experience with TLS/SSL, SSH, S/MIME, code signing, NIST practices * 2+ years client-facing skills and leading small teams Key requirements *
