Cyber Data Protection/PKI Specialist Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview As a Cyber Data Protection and PKI Specialist, you will help clients assess and implement data protection strategies, focusing on encryption, key management, and PKI across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments. You will guide architecture, governance, and delivery of secure data practices, working with cross-functional teams to reduce data risk and ensure compliant, scalable certificate management. You’ll stay ahead of trends like post-quantum cryptography and confidential computing to keep client programs resilient. This role offers meaningful impact shaping enterprise security programs within Deloitte’s Cyber Strategy & Transformation team. Compensation / Benefits * Serve as SME and trusted advisor on data protection and encryption requirements * Design, implement, and operate data protection solutions and PKI across environments * Develop encryption strategies and certificate management processes; monitor PKI health * Lead client engagements, manage delivery and timelines, and communicate with stakeholders * Stay current on emerging encryption technologies and industry trends * Evaluate and recommend new tools and solutions to enhance data security Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in a related field * 5+ years in data protection and information security with encryption and CLM * 2+ years PKI concepts and certificate lifecycle management * 2+ years hands-on experience with data protection technologies and CLM platforms * 2+ years experience with cryptographic standards/protocols (TLS/SSL, SSH, S/MIME, NIST) * 2+ years client-facing, stakeholder management and lead small teams * Willingness to travel 25-50% * Professional certifications such as CISSP or CISM (preferred) Key requirements *
