Cyber Data Protection/PKI Specialist Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview In this Senior Consultant role, you guide clients on data protection and encryption strategies across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. You’ll design, implement, and operate PKI and encryption programs while leading delivery and aligning with clients’ cyber risk goals. You stay ahead of emerging technologies and advise on practical, scalable protections. This role combines hands-on technical work with client advisory and cross-functional collaboration to strengthen security postures. Compensation / Benefits * Act as SME and trusted advisor on data protection and encryption requirements for clients * Design, implement, and operate encryption strategies and PKI lifecycle management across environments * Lead delivery by driving day-to-day execution, updating clients and leadership, and ensuring timely, high-quality work * Monitor project timelines, manage budgets, and report progress to stakeholders * Stay current on emerging encryption tech and industry trends; recommend new tools and solutions to enhance data security Tasks * Bachelor in Cybersecurity or related field; 5+ years in data protection and information security; 2+ years with PKI concepts; 2+ years implementing encryption technologies and CLM; 2+ years hands-on with data protection technologies; 2+ years CLM platforms (AppViewX, Venafi, Keyfactor, DigiCert or similar); 2+ years TLS/SSL, SSH, S/MIME, code signing, NIST practices; 2+ years certificate discovery, automation, renewal, and compliance monitoring; 2+ years in strategy, architecture, and roadmaps; 2+ years integration with F5, load balancers, WAFs, Kubernetes, API gateways, cloud; client-facing and leadership experience; willingness to travel 25-50%; professional certifications such as CISSP or CISM; limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements *
