Microsoft Purview and Data Governance Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview In this role, you help clients design, implement, and optimize Microsoft Purview to strengthen data governance, protection, and regulatory compliance. You will work on large-scale transformation programs across assessment, design, and deployment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to reduce risk and improve security posture. You will guide clients through governance strategy and operating models while delivering practical, value-driven solutions. Compensation / Benefits * Assess client data governance and compliance environments and develop Purview-based recommendations (DLP, Compliance Manager, eDiscovery, Information Protection) * Design and implement Purview solutions for data classification, labeling, retention, investigation, and governance * Conduct technical health checks, discovery, and remediation for Purview deployments including audit and policy reviews * Support proof of concept, deployment, integration, and post-implementation activities for Purview and related Microsoft security tools * Advise on data governance strategy, lifecycle management, compliance monitoring, and operating model improvements to strengthen security posture Tasks * 4+ years of experience in technical consulting, problem-solving, solution architecture/design for Microsoft Purview or similar data governance technologies * 4+ years hands-on experience implementing or operating Microsoft Purview capabilities (data classification, labeling, protection, eDiscovery, DLP, compliance reporting) * 4+ years designing and implementing data governance or compliance controls across Microsoft environments, including application integrations * Ability to travel up to 50% on average * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields; limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * professional development opportunities * inclusive culture * opportunities to work on high-impact client projects * cross-functional collaboration * travel opportunities up to 50%
