Workday Grants Delivery Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview In this role you help deliver grant-focused Workday solutions within Deloitte’s GPS operations, guiding transformation from ramp-up to steady-state support. You will work with cross-functional teams to optimize grant configuration, controls, and reporting while ensuring compliance and smooth incident management. The position blends advisory and delivery responsibilities, focusing on scalable, high-impact improvements in grant processes. You will operate within a hybrid delivery model, contributing to multi-year programs and client outcomes. Compensation / Benefits * Transition and ramp-up activities for grant-related Workday configurations * Learn and support grant setup, worktag strategy, charging rules, validations, and reporting expectations * Review compliance artifacts (SOPs, controls, audits) and resolve grant-related issues * Provide Day-One surge support to triage and fix grant-impacting problems * Collaborate with Accounting and Integrations on cross-system issues * Provide ongoing incident and problem management for recurring grants issues * Maintain documentation and improve knowledge base for consistent outcomes * Identify opportunities to improve compliance, reporting packs, and master data governance * Deliver complex enhancements and projects with disciplined testing and stakeholder readiness * Operate within grant-related Workday Financials, including master data, controls, reporting, and approvals/security Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in any field * Workday Financials Grants Management Certification and/or Workday Grants Management Certification * 5+ years of experience in Workday Financials Grants Management * Experience with grant lifecycle concepts (award vs funding vs spend) and budgeting controls * Ability to support procure-to-pay transactions coded to grants and troubleshoot budget errors * Experience triaging issues, incident management, and client-facing operational support * Strong written and verbal communication, relationship-building, and project leadership skills * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment * Hybrid work model and willingness to travel up to 10% Key requirements *
