Workday Grants Delivery Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview In this role you help deliver enterprise performance and digital transformation for government clients, focusing on grants within Workday Financials. You work with cross-functional teams to configure grants, validate controls, and resolve issues during hypercare and steady-state operations. You’ll drive process improvements, governance, and reporting enhancements while sustaining documentation and knowledge sharing. This is a hands-on, client-facing position that combines advisory insight with operational delivery to enable heart-of-the-business solutions. Compensation / Benefits * Transition and ramp-up activities for grant-related Workday configurations * Configure grant master data, worktagging, charging controls, and grant-focused reporting * Review SOPs, control points, and audit requirements; identify known issues * Provide Day-One hypercare support; triage grant-impacting issues (worktagging, charging, validation, workflow, reporting) * Partner with Accounting and Integrations teams on posting logic or data flows * Deliver steady-state O&M support for recurring grants issues; maintain documentation and traceability * Identify opportunities to improve compliance, transparency, and data governance; implement enhancements * Deliver complex enhancements/projects with testing and stakeholder readiness * Work on grant-related processes, approvals, and security in Workday Financials Tasks * Bachelor’s degree * Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship * Workday Financial Services Certified and/or Workday Grants Management Certified * 5+ years of experience in Workday Financials Grants Management * Experience with grant lifecycle concepts and grant-to-spend alignment * Ability to support procure-to-pay transactions coded to grants and troubleshoot budgets * Experience with triage, incident management, and client-facing operational support Key requirements *
