Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead design, development, and deployment of AI/ML solutions for client use cases within Deloitte’s Government & Public Services team. You’ll steer cross-functional workstreams, mentor junior practitioners, and ensure scalable, production-ready data pipelines and models. You’ll collaborate with engineers, product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions and drive impact for clients. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on delivering high-quality AI capabilities that scale across engagements. Compensation / Benefits * Lead design, development, testing, and deployment of ML/AI solutions for client use cases * Manage AI engineering workstreams: assign work, review deliverables, drive quality and timeliness * Develop and oversee data pipelines, model training workflows, production-grade components * Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, product stakeholders, and business teams to translate requirements * Coach and mentor junior practitioners; monitor model/application performance to improve accuracy, reliability, and scalability Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field * 7+ years of professional experience * 5+ years designing, developing, or deploying ML/AI/advanced analytics solutions * 3+ years programming in Python, Pyspark, Pytorch, and Tensorflow * 2+ years of technology consulting experience in State or Local Government * 2+ years leading technical teams, projects, or workstreams * 1+ years working with AI technologies such as Gemini, Anthropic, and OpenAI * Active certification or advanced certification in Python, Pyspark, Pytorch, and Tensorflow * Ability to travel 20% on average * Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship Key requirements * broad range of benefits
