Experteer Overview In this role you will lead the design and deployment of AI/ML solutions for clients, guiding multi-disciplinary teams and shaping scalable data-driven platforms. You will drive AI engineering workstreams, oversee data pipelines and production components, and mentor junior practitioners. You’ll partner with product and business teams to translate requirements into practical AI systems that improve client outcomes. This is an opportunity to influence AI strategy in government and public services while delivering measurable impact. Compensation / Benefits * Lead design, development, testing, and deployment of ML/AI solutions for business and client use cases * Manage AI engineering workstreams: assign work, review deliverables, drive quality and timely delivery * Develop and oversee data pipelines, model training workflows, and production-grade components * Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, product stakeholders, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions * Coach and mentor junior practitioners, monitor model and application performance to improve accuracy, reliability, and scalability Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative field * 7+ years of professional experience * 5+ years designing, developing, or deploying ML/AI/advanced analytics solutions * 3+ years programming in Python, Pyspark, Pytorch, and Tensorflow * 2+ years technology consulting in the State or Local Government space * 2+ years leading technical teams or workstreams for AI/ML delivery * 1+ years working with AI technologies such as Gemini, Anthropic, and OpenAI * Active certification in Python, Pyspark, Pytorch, or Tensorflow * Ability to travel ~20% * Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship Key requirements *
