Job description
Experteer Overview In this role you lead the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML solutions for client use cases within Deloitte’s GPS practice. You manage AI workstreams, mentor junior practitioners, and ensure scalable data pipelines and production-ready components. You’ll collaborate with engineers, data scientists, product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical solutions and drive quality and impact. This position offers working at scale on impactful government and public sector initiatives with opportunities to shape AI platforms and analytics capabilities. Compensation / Benefits * Lead end-to-end design, development, testing, and deployment of AI/ML solutions for client use cases * Manage AI engineering workstreams, assign tasks, review deliverables, and ensure quality and timeliness * Develop and oversee data pipelines, model training workflows, and production-grade components * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions * Coach and mentor junior practitioners and monitor model/application performance Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in CS, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative field * 7+ years of professional experience * 5+ years designing, developing, or deploying ML/AI/advanced analytics solutions * 3+ years programming in Python, Pyspark, Pytorch, and Tensorflow * 2+ years technology consulting experience in State or Local Government * 2+ years leading technical teams or workstreams * 1+ year experience with AI technologies (Gemini, Anthropic, OpenAI) * Active certification in Python, Pyspark, Pytorch, Tensorflow * Ability to travel ~20% * Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship Key requirements * broad range of benefits * discretionary annual incentive program * accommodations for people with disabilities
