Job description

Experteer Overview As a Senior Data Scientist at SFL Scientific, you will shape data strategy, advance technical development, and help build next-generation AI tools and services. You’ll collaborate with clients to understand datasets and requirements, guiding exploratory analysis and long-term solutions. You’ll join a multidisciplinary team delivering innovative AI projects across healthcare, autonomous systems, and consumer tech, while growing your data science and AI capabilities through consulting engagements. This role combines scientific rigor with business impact, offering opportunities to influence transformation initiatives. Compensation / Benefits * Guide clients in AI strategy and development, from data understanding to production deployment * Lead client initiatives delivering AI/ML solutions, including long-term maintenance and objectives * Research and implement novel ML approaches and optimize training, design, and hardware usage * Validate AI models via code reviews and tests; ensure production-ready quality * Prioritize project performance and model development to maximize business impact * Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, engineers, project managers, and business teams to align with objectives Tasks * 3+ years of AI/ML algorithm development using Python, PyTorch, and data analysis methods (NLP, time-series, computer vision) * 3+ years applying traditional ML and deep learning (CNNs, RNNs, GANs) in real-world projects with production validation * 3+ years deploying/optimizing ML models using Kubernetes, Docker, TensorRT/Trion, RAPIDs, Kubeflow, MLflow * 3+ years leveraging cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to deploy AI/ML workloads * Ability to travel ~10% and reside within commuting distance to Deloitte offices * Live within commuting distance to Deloitte’s consulting offices * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements *
