Job description

Robert Half is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to support an e-commerce organization based in Seattle, WA. This role will provide hands-on end-user support across the employee lifecycle, including laptop imaging, setup, deployment, troubleshooting, and decommissioning., * Image, configure, and deploy laptops and other end-user devices for new and existing employees.

  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including device setup, account access, equipment deployment, and laptop decommissioning.
  • Provide Tier 1/Tier 2 desktop and end-user support for hardware, software, operating system, and access-related issues.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Windows devices through Microsoft Intune.
  • Support user accounts, permissions, authentication, and device access within Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Troubleshoot Windows OS issues and maintain a consistent end-user computing environment.
  • Manage incoming support requests through a ticketing system, including documentation, escalation, and resolution.
  • Troubleshoot laptops, peripherals, applications, connectivity, and general workplace technology issues.
  • Assist with device inventory, lifecycle management, replacements, and equipment returns.
  • Partner with other IT teams to escalate and resolve more complex technical issues.

Requirements

  • Microsoft Intune - Hands-on experience with device management, configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • Microsoft Entra ID - Experience supporting user accounts, access, authentication, and permissions.
  • Windows OS - Strong experience troubleshooting and supporting Windows-based laptops and desktops.
  • Experience with laptop imaging, setup, deployment, and decommissioning.
  • Experience providing end-user support through a ticketing system.

Nice to Have

  • macOS support experience.
  • Single Sign-On (SSO) troubleshooting and administration.
  • Google Workspace support.
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms.
