Data Operations Coordinator

JHC Consulting is currently managing a mandate for a logistics firm based in Brussels. This engagement requires rigorous scrutiny of operational data to inform the strategic counsel we provide to their leadership. The Data Operations Coordinator will be responsible for the integrity and organization of the datasets that underpin our written arguments. This is a permanent, full-time position that is conducted entirely remotely. By ensuring that every figure and trend is verified, the person in this role enables our principals to draft memoranda with confidence. The Role In this position, you will manage the flow of information between the client’s logistics databases and our internal analytical documents. Your day-to-day work involves the systematic cleaning and categorization of data related to supply chain efficiency, route optimization, and resource allocation. You will not be building dashboards or creating visual presentations. Instead, you will be identifying anomalies and synthesizing raw figures into clear summaries that support a written case. Accuracy is paramount, as a single error in a data point can undermine the credibility of an entire memorandum. You will spend significant time reading internal client reports and comparing them against raw data exports to ensure consistency and truth. What You Bring

We are looking for an individual with a high degree of intellectual maturity and a genuine interest in the mechanics of large-scale logistics. While this is an entry-level role, you should have a basic familiarity with data tools such as spreadsheets or relational databases. You do not need years of professional experience, but you must demonstrate a logical approach to problem-solving and the patience required for thorough verification. Most importantly, you must be a clear and capable writer. At JHC Consulting, even data coordination requires the ability to explain why a particular set of numbers matters in plain English. A background in business, economics, or information science is helpful, but we value the ability to think critically above specific academic degrees.
