Entry Level IT Support Technician

• Troubleshoot problems with computer hardware, software, and networking.
• Install new computers and peripheral devices.
• Troubleshoot problems using appropriate techniques.
• Install and configure Windows operating systems.
• Install, upgrade, and configure Microsoft server operating systems.
• Install and configure virtual server environments using Hyper-V.
• Install, configure, manage and troubleshoot network environments using pfSense and Ubiquiti equipment.
• Install, configure and upgrade networking hardware and software.
• Set up user accounts on servers and desktops.
• Reconfigure user accounts on servers or desktops.
• Configure security networks to limit network access by specific users or by types of hardware or software.
• Configure application software to use company databases or the Internet for data storage or access to outside systems.

We are looking for a capable Entry Level IT Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of how networks function and how to connect hardware and software within them., * Minimum 1-3 years technical experience (Required)

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• A degree in Networking, Computer Science, Information Technology (Preferred), * Must pass Criminal Background Check with fingerprinting
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must be willing to work out of both our Morris and Ottawa locations as needed
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50lbs
• Must be comfortable standing or kneeling for periods of time
• Comfortable working with Windows 11 operating systems
• May be required to work flexible hours
• A+ certification and Net+ certification or willingness to complete within 6 months of hiring

We are looking for a full-time professional IT Support Technician to join our fast-paced environment. You will be working directly with our clients and their staff to provide exceptional service for all their technological needs, working out of our main office and occasionally traveling to client locations. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly, professional manner, provide one-on-one end user training, and troubleshoot computer hardware and software problems.
