Job description
- Designing and developing Power BI dashboards and reports that translate complex data into actionable insights
- Building data models and connections to support reporting requirements across the business
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and define reporting specifications
- Implementing data quality checks and validation processes to ensure reporting accuracy
- Supporting the optimisation of existing Power BI solutions to improve performance and user experience
- Documenting technical specifications and solution architecture for reference and knowledge sharing
Requirements
- Proven experience developing Power BI solutions in a professional environment
- Strong proficiency in data modelling, DAX and Power Query
- Experience with SQL and the ability to write efficient queries for data extraction
- Familiarity with Azure and cloud-based data platforms
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Microsoft Power BI Certification or equivalent professional qualification
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to data quality
Nice-to-have capabilities include experience with APIs, microservices architecture, data pipeline development, or exposure to SAP systems.
