Job description

  • Designing and developing Power BI dashboards and reports that translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Building data models and connections to support reporting requirements across the business
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and define reporting specifications
  • Implementing data quality checks and validation processes to ensure reporting accuracy
  • Supporting the optimisation of existing Power BI solutions to improve performance and user experience
  • Documenting technical specifications and solution architecture for reference and knowledge sharing

Requirements

  • Proven experience developing Power BI solutions in a professional environment
  • Strong proficiency in data modelling, DAX and Power Query
  • Experience with SQL and the ability to write efficient queries for data extraction
  • Familiarity with Azure and cloud-based data platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Microsoft Power BI Certification or equivalent professional qualification
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to data quality

Nice-to-have capabilities include experience with APIs, microservices architecture, data pipeline development, or exposure to SAP systems.
