Java Developer

We are looking to register interest from talented Java developers for upcoming contract opportunities. These roles could involve designing and building scalable microservices architectures, contributing to cloud-native applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions in a fast-paced environment., * Developing and maintaining Java applications using Spring Boot and Spring frameworks

• Designing and implementing microservices and distributed system components
• Building and optimising APIs for integration across systems
• Contributing to CI/CD pipelines and containerisation strategies using Docker and Kubernetes
• Writing clean, maintainable code with a focus on quality and performance
• Collaborating with teams across infrastructure, data and frontend disciplines
• Supporting deployment and monitoring of applications on cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience developing production Java applications
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring frameworks and microservices architecture
• Experience with relational databases and SQL
• Familiarity with containerisation technologies such as Docker
• Experience with version control systems and CI/CD practices
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to code quality and testing

Nice-to-have

• Oracle Certified Professional: Java SE Programmer or Oracle Certified Associate: Java SE
• Spring Professional (VMware) certification
• Experience with Kubernetes orchestration
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
• Experience with distributed systems design patterns
• Familiarity with messaging and event-driven architectures
