Job description

This role sits within our data and analytics function, where you would support the design, development and delivery of Power BI solutions that enable teams across the business to visualise, analyse and act on data more effectively. You could be working with stakeholders across multiple departments, translating business requirements into technical implementations and ensuring that our BI infrastructure continues to evolve with organisational needs., * Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, reports and data models to support business decision-making

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Optimising data pipelines and ensuring data quality across BI solutions
  • Supporting the integration of Power BI with other data sources and systems
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues with existing BI implementations
  • Contributing to the improvement of data processes and analytical standards, Most roles of this type offer the following, dependent on the industry and seniority of the role:

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience developing Power BI solutions and reports in a professional environment
  • Strong understanding of data quality principles and analytical best practice
  • Experience working with SQL databases and data extraction techniques
  • Proven ability to engage with stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Microsoft Power BI Certification (or equivalent professional qualification)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Comfortable working in a London-based environment on a contract basis

Nice-to-have experience could include:

  • Familiarity with Azure data services or cloud-based analytics platforms
  • Knowledge of data pipeline development and ETL processes
  • Experience with additional BI tools or data visualisation platforms
  • Background in data quality management or analytics governance
