Helpdesk Technician

Configures PCs, VOIP phones, iOS devices, network devices. Works with vendors to maintain the devices. Responds to end user queries., * Responds to user queries and technical support issues.

• Performs setup and configuration of PCs.
• Deploys desktop software including anti-virus, office productivity applications, enterprise applications, etc.
• Configures and troubleshoots VOIP phones with the help of vendor’s technical support.
• Configures and troubleshoots iOS devices with the help of vendor’s technical support.
• Troubleshoots and arranges repairs of PCs with the help of vendor’s technical support.
• Assists in creation and updating of procedures and documentation
• Administers employee termination IT Administrator.
• Promotes teamwork and positive communication among employees.
• Assists in researching and implementing new software/hardware initiatives in the company.
• Performs other duties and services to ensure a successful functioning of information systems.
• Promotes Core Values of the Company and maintains excellent attendance and punctuality.

• Highschool Diploma with Information Technology specific training or exposure.
• Must have a clean and valid Driver’s License and a personal vehicle
• Position may involve occasional travel, mostly driving

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Good understanding of PCs, office network devices such as printers, scanners, VOIP phones, etc.
• Basic understanding of networking (IP Addresses, DNS, etc.)
• Good communication skills
• Ability to deal with vendors and push open items to completion
• Exposure to Audio-Visual systems is a plus
