Job description

· Meet with clients in the showroom and on site to gather scope, style direction, and budget

· Perform accurate field measurements of existing kitchens, baths, and closets

· Produce complete designs, elevations, and 3D renderings in 20/20 Design software

· Generate cabinet and material specifications, door/finish selections, and accurate takeoffs

· Prepare detailed quotes and proposals; present and revise designs with clients

· Coordinate with in-house millwork/manufacturing, project managers, and installers

· Specify countertops, appliances, hardware, and plumbing fixtures

· Review shop drawings for accuracy prior to release to production

· Maintain project documentation, revisions, and change orders

Requirements

· Minimum 5 years of professional kitchen and bath design experience

· Proficiency in 20/20 Design software (required)

· Strong working knowledge of cabinet construction, modifications, and standard/custom cabinetry lines

· Ability to accurately field measure and produce dimensioned drawings

· Understanding of appliance specifications, countertop fabrication, and installation requirements

· Familiarity with basic plumbing, electrical, and ventilation rough-in requirements

· Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills

· Comfortable managing multiple active projects and deadlines

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for site visits

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with commercial millwork or QSR/restaurant buildouts

· Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Chief Architect, or Revit

· NKBA certification (AKBD/CKBD) or equivalent

· Experience with closet and storage system design

· Familiarity with NYC and Long Island building/permit requirements

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
