Job description

We’re seeking an experienced Interior Designer, with 6 or more years or experience to join our team on a contract basis to support the design and delivery of upcoming hospitality projects. This role is ideal for a mid-to-senior designer who thrives in a boutique studio environment, , and has a strong portfolio of hospitality work from concept through construction and installation., · Develop design concepts, mood boards, and material palettes for guest rooms, corridors, lobbies, F&B outlets, and wellness spaces

· Produce and coordinate FF&E specifications, schedules, and budgets

· Create and review design development and construction documentation, including floor plans, elevations, RCPs, and detail drawings

· Select and specify finishes, fabrics, lighting, and custom millwork in line with brand standards and budget

· Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, lighting consultants, vendors, fabricators, and procurement teams

· Prepare and present design concepts to clients and internal stakeholders

· Conduct site visits to review installations, punch lists, and quality control

· Ensure designs comply with local building codes, ADA/accessibility standards, and brand guidelines

· Manage timelines and deliverables independently while collaborating closely with the principal designer

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field

· 6-8+ years of professional interior design experience, with a focus on hospitality/hotel projects

· Strong portfolio demonstrating hotel design work across multiple project phases

· Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit; SketchUp, or similar visualization tools

· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite

· Solid understanding of FF&E procurement, specification writing, and budget management

· Working knowledge of building codes, ADA requirements, and fire/life safety standards

· Excellent communication and presentation skills

· Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and collaborate with a small project team
