Job description
Insight Global is seeking a Desktop Technician for a leading insurance client. This individual will join the IT support team and serve as a key resource for end-user technology support. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, enjoys solving technical issues, and is comfortable working directly with employees in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include imaging and deploying computers, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing incoming tickets, and providing deskside support. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an early-career IT professional to gain hands-on experience with enterprise technologies while supporting a large-scale desktop environment. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite, collaborating with IT teams, and occasionally supporting after-hours deployments during office moves and technology initiatives.
Requirements
1+ year of hands-on IT support experience
o Experience troubleshooting desktop, laptop, hardware, software, and peripheral issues
o Experience imaging and configuring computers for end users

Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact directly with employees and stakeholders - Experience with Microsoft MECM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager)

Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting experience

Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems

CompTIA A+ or other desktop support certifications
