IT Technician - Brilliant Secondary School in Cambridge

A brilliant Secondary School is seeking an IT Technician to join its technical team in Cambridge. The role will provide 1st and 2nd line support to users, assisting with hardware, software, Microsoft 365 and basic networking issues., * Provide 1st and 2nd line support via helpdesk and on-site visits.

• Troubleshoot Windows desktops, Microsoft 365 and connectivity issues.
• Install and configure hardware and software.
• Assist with IT projects, upgrades and deployments.
• Support servers, backups and IT security.
• Maintain accurate support records and resolve technical faults.
• Work collaboratively with the wider IT team.

• At least two years’ experience in IT support.
• Good knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365.
• Understanding of basic networking.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive approach with a willingness to develop technical skills.

Previous MSP experience or Microsoft certifications would be advantageous.
