IT Support Engineer

• Experience working in a 1st or 2nd Line IT Support role
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows and Active Directory
• Understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, VPNs and firewalls
• Exposure to Cloud technologies, ideally Microsoft Azure
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer-facing abilities
• A genuine interest in Cloud Infrastructure and Cyber Security
• MSP experience is highly desirable

• £40,000 Salary

We’re partnered with a growing and forward-thinking MSP in Southampton that’s continuing to expand its technical capabilities across cloud infrastructure, cyber security, and modern IT services. They’re now looking for a motivated 1st/2nd Line Engineer to join their technical team and take the next step in their IT career.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who already has solid 1st Line experience and is ready to take on more responsibility. You’ll support a diverse range of clients, working across different technologies and environments while developing your technical skills and gaining exposure to more advanced infrastructure.

You won’t be limited to traditional support. You’ll have opportunities to get involved with Cloud Infrastructure, Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, security technologies, and infrastructure projects, working alongside more experienced engineers and learning how modern IT environments are designed and supported.
