Technology Specialist

Provide district-wide technical support for Technology Assistants, Administration, Teachers, Support Staff, Students, and other end users. Responsible for troubleshooting, repair and upgrade of Apple hardware and related peripherals. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install, test and configure computer hardware and software.
• Work with users to establish adequate controls for physical security and backup.
• Perform troubleshooting, repair and upgrade of Apple hardware (iPads, computers, monitors, etc.) and related peripherals (printers, scanners, cameras, projectors, etc.).
• Coordinate repairs with service providers for warranty and out-of-warranty work.
• Research and price shop for hardware, software and computer-related purchase of replacement parts.
• Responsible for maintaining accurate hardware and software inventory records at building(s).
• Responsible for the maintenance of all computers and printers for assigned building(s), as per District procedure.
• Perform special projects and other duties, as assigned.
