IT Technician Required for School in Oxfordshire

A growing school in Bicester, Oxfordshire is seeking an enthusiastic IT Technician to provide day-to-day technical support to staff and students.

The school relies heavily on technology across classrooms and administrative departments, making this a key support role within the organisation.

The successful candidate will provide first-line troubleshooting, maintain hardware and assist with the smooth operation of the school’s IT systems., * Providing technical support to staff and students

• Troubleshooting computers, laptops and peripherals
• Setting up new devices
• Supporting classroom technology
• Installing and updating software
• Assisting with user account management
• Troubleshooting connectivity problems
• Maintaining IT equipment
• Logging technical issues
• Escalating complex problems when necessary

Previous experience in a school environment would be advantageous, but candidates with relevant IT support, helpdesk or technical experience will also be considered.

The ideal candidate will be patient, approachable and confident explaining technical issues to people with varying levels of IT knowledge.
