IT Hardware Asset Analyst

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, handling IT service tickets, coordinating hardware refreshes/IMAC activities, and auditing software licenses and vendor contracts., * Lifecycle & Inventory Management: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of IT hardware and software assets. Conduct periodic physical inventories, monitor asset usage, and log changes, locations, and service history.

• Asset Movement & Refresh: Coordinate the transfer of IT equipment between business units within designated SLAs (5-7 business days). Support PC refreshes and Install, Move, Add, Change (IMAC) processes.
• Ticketing & Queue Management: Actively monitor and manage the ITSM Asset Management queue daily. Resolve assigned ITSM tickets within SLA windows (7-10 business days) while documenting detailed lifecycle updates and resolution notes.
• Vendor & Contract Tracking: Track and maintain records of hardware warranties, maintenance agreements, lease documents, and vendor contracts, flagging upcoming contract expirations.
• Software Compliance & Audits: Assist in tracking and auditing software installations across desktop environments, servers, and network equipment. Support the semiannual reconciliation of software repositories against approved software standards.
• Reporting: Generate, review, and distribute weekly IT asset management and compliance reports to leadership and technical services teams.

• Proven hands-on experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM) and enterprise hardware inventory workflows.
• Strong background working within an enterprise ITSM platform (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, Remedy) managing ticket queues and asset databases.
• Direct experience executing hardware PC refreshes, deployments, and IMAC activities.
• Familiarity with software licensing models, compliance audits, and warranty/maintenance contract tracking.
• Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail when tracking hardware serial numbers, licenses, and ticket histories.
• Ability to work fully onsite and physically handle/move desktop hardware and equipment as needed., * IT Asset Management (Required 2 Years)
