Job description
Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for systems, data, and continuous improvement? We’re looking for an enthusiastic IT Business Systems Administrator to play a vital role in supporting and enhancing ECL’s people and business systems, helping our colleagues deliver outstanding services every day.
Reporting into the IT function, you will be instrumental in the successful implementation, maintenance, security, and ongoing development of our digital systems. From system set-up and configuration to testing, reporting, user access management, and issue resolution, you’ll ensure our systems remain reliable, secure, and fit for purpose.
Working collaboratively with colleagues across IT, HR, Payroll, Finance, Business Insight, and operational teams, as well as external suppliers, you will help drive system improvements, streamline processes, and enhance the user experience. You’ll provide expert day-to-day support, troubleshoot technical issues, identify opportunities for automation and innovation, and contribute to projects that maximise the value of ECL’s digital investments.

You’ll bring a natural curiosity for how systems work, strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach to solving problems, while building positive relationships across the organisation to deliver meaningful business improvements., To be considered as IT Business Systems Administrator, you need:
- Solid experience of providing administrative, technical, reporting, or systems support within an IT, business systems, HR systems, payroll, or corporate systems environment.
- Experience of supporting the implementation, maintenance, administration, reporting, or improvement of business systems, HR systems, payroll systems, or other enterprise applications.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate system issues, identify root causes, and help implement practical solutions.
- Understanding of change control and service desk processes.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain system processes clearly to different audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with stakeholders and customers.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, SQL, APIs/integrations, SFTP, reporting tools or workflow systems.
- Experience of systems testing, data migration, user acceptance testing, system configuration, integrations, access management, or report development.
- Knowledge of IT service management principles, information governance, cyber security awareness, business systems administration, or HR/payroll systems would be desirable.
