Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Epic Willow Home Infusion Analyst to join our Healthcare IT team and serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for home infusion pharmacy workflows within the Epic EHR platform. This role plays a critical part in supporting the continuum of care from hospital discharge through outpatient and home-based infusion therapy.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Epic configuration, application support, and workflow optimization, combined with strong collaboration skills across clinical and technical teams. You will work closely with Accenture team members, Epic vendor resources, offshore support teams, and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance patient care, ensure compliance, and improve operational efficiency in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

This remote opportunity is open to individuals located in the United States.

Additionally, the role requires access to reliable internet and the ability to manage all responsibilities from a home office. The project hours of operations will be Monday - Friday, in which candidate must be available to work an 8-hour shift between 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Eastern Time.

Contractors will be engaged and paid by a third-party payroll supplier, BCforward, which will serve as the employer of record for tax and compliance purposes.

Key Responsibilities

Core Duties

  • Serve as the SME for Epic Willow Home Infusion, leading system configuration, workflow optimization, and ongoing application support
  • Manage day-to-day support operations, including incident triage, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and SLA adherence
  • Build and maintain infusion medication records, workflows, billing rules, and system integrations across Epic modules
  • Support system design, testing, and go-live activities, including multi-site implementations and enterprise scaling

Deliverables or Project Scope

  • Deliver optimized Home Infusion workflows supporting medication preparation, compounding, delivery logistics, and administration tracking
  • Ensure timely resolution of application issues, error queues, and interface defects impacting pharmacy and home infusion operations
  • Configure and maintain billing rules aligned to payor contracts and infusion-specific reimbursement scenarios
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, testing plans, and end-user training materials to support compliance and adoption

Collaboration Tools or Platforms

  • Epic EHR (Willow Home Infusion, Ambulatory, and Inpatient modules)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) for communication, reporting, and documentation
  • Ticketing and incident management tools (e.g., ServiceNow or equivalent) for SLA-driven support
  • Cross-functional collaboration with offshore teams, Epic vendor partners, pharmacists, nurses, and care coordination teams, This is a contractor role administered through a third-party payroll supplier. The supplier will determine compensation, benefits, and applicable employment policies. The contractor will not be eligible for employee benefits from Accenture.

The supplier will ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws including ADA, FMLA, and local ordinances.

Contractors must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for work authorization in the United States.

Compensation Disclosure

Compensation for contractor roles supporting Accenture is determined by the contractor’s employer BCforward, and varies depending on factors such as location, role, skill set, and experience.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Ticketing system technical support?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare IT, Pharmacy, or a related field preferred

  • Active Epic Willow Ambulatory or Home Infusion certification (must be current and maintained)
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Epic application support, configuration, and build within a healthcare environment
  • Proven experience supporting ambulatory or home infusion pharmacy workflows and translating clinical requirements into technical solutions
  • Strong experience managing EHR support operations, including incident management and SLA performance
  • Demonstrated analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and implement solutions, * Additional Epic certifications (Willow Inpatient, Home Infusion, Bugsy, or related modules)
  • Experience working with offshore or distributed teams, including coordination and task delegation
  • Background in healthcare IT consulting or large health system environments Familiarity with continuum of care workflows (inpatient outpatient

  • Experience with billing configurations, payor contracts, and revenue cycle processes in infusion or pharmacy settings
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across clinical and technical stakeholders, * This is a remote role; candidates must have reliable internet and the ability to work in a home office environment
