Job description
We are currently recruiting for a Technical Administrator to join a leading organisation within the engineering and materials testing sector. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a structured, technical environment and is confident managing data, documentation, and customer orders with accuracy. You will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of destructive testing operations., * Booking customer orders and job requests accurately into internal systems
- Preparing, updating and maintaining test documentation and certification
- Assisting with job scheduling, workload planning and workflow coordination
- Liaising with internal teams to ensure testing requirements and deadlines are met
- Monitoring job progress and ensuring all records are compliant and up to date
- Providing administrative support to technical teams and test engineers
- Handling general office duties including reporting, filing and data entry
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative or technical administration role
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Comfortable working with databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools
- Excellent communication skills and confidence liaising with various departments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, process-driven environment
- Engineering, manufacturing, or laboratory environment experience is beneficial but not essential
