Job description
This busy secondary school requires a proactive and technically skilled IT Technician to ensure the smooth, efficient operation of all school hardware, software, and network systems. The role is crucial for supporting teaching and administrative functions across the campus. Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope
- Hardware Support: Diagnosing and resolving faults with desktops, laptops, printers, and interactive whiteboards (IWBs/projectors).
- Software Management: Installing, configuring, and updating operating systems and educational software across the school network.
- User Support: Providing first and second-line technical support to staff and students, logging and escalating issues where necessary.
- Network Assistance: Basic troubleshooting and maintenance of network connectivity and user accounts.
