Job description
- Provide day-to-day IT support to staff and users across hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Support and maintain Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and core business applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to networks, connectivity, printers, and user accounts
- Assist with IT projects, including system upgrades, device rollouts, and infrastructure improvements
- Monitor and manage support tickets, ensuring issues are resolved within agreed timescales
- Maintain accurate IT documentation, asset registers, and user guides in line with best practice
Requirements
- Previous experience working in an IT support or IT Technician role
- Good working knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking principles
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and user-related issues
- Strong customer service and communication skills with a professional approach
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple support requests effectively
- A proactive, hands-on attitude with strong problem-solving skills
- Relevant IT qualifications or certifications (desirable but not essential), * Active Directory
