Job description

  • Deliver friendly first-line and some second-line IT support across multiple school sites
  • Set up and configure devices, user accounts, and passwords
  • Support and maintain hardware including laptops, printers, projectors, and basic network equipment
  • Log, update, and manage IT support tickets through the helpdesk system
  • Assist with system updates and software rollouts
  • Work closely with fellow technicians to ensure systems run smoothly
  • Support staff and students with day-to-day IT queries
  • Always work in line with health & safety and data protection requirements

Requirements

  • At least 6 months' IT experience or relevant training
  • Confident with basic IT support tasks such as device setup and password resets
  • Eager to learn and develop skills in networks, hardware, and cloud-based systems
  • Friendly, patient, and confident when supporting non-technical users
  • Well organised, dependable, and comfortable travelling between school sites
  • Familiar with Google Workspace and Windows environments
  • Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a vehicle (essential)
