Job description
- Deliver friendly first-line and some second-line IT support across multiple school sites
- Set up and configure devices, user accounts, and passwords
- Support and maintain hardware including laptops, printers, projectors, and basic network equipment
- Log, update, and manage IT support tickets through the helpdesk system
- Assist with system updates and software rollouts
- Work closely with fellow technicians to ensure systems run smoothly
- Support staff and students with day-to-day IT queries
- Always work in line with health & safety and data protection requirements
Requirements
- At least 6 months' IT experience or relevant training
- Confident with basic IT support tasks such as device setup and password resets
- Eager to learn and develop skills in networks, hardware, and cloud-based systems
- Friendly, patient, and confident when supporting non-technical users
- Well organised, dependable, and comfortable travelling between school sites
- Familiar with Google Workspace and Windows environments
- Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a vehicle (essential)
