Job description

We're proud to be supporting a national Facilities Management business in their search for a proactive Helpdesk Administrator to join their busy service team based in Runcorn. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and is looking to build a career within FM., As the Helpdesk Administrator, you'll act as the central point of contact for all planned and reactive maintenance queries across multiple client sites. You'll play a key role in ensuring engineers are deployed efficiently and jobs are managed through to completion. Duties include:

  • Handling incoming calls and emails regarding maintenance requests
  • Logging jobs onto the CAFM system and updating job status
  • Liaising with engineers, subcontractors, and site teams
  • Scheduling planned and reactive works
  • Raising purchase orders and ensuring compliance documentation is captured
  • Providing regular updates to clients and internal teams
  • Producing reports and keeping accurate records

Requirements

  • Experience within a facilities management helpdesk or similar fast-paced admin role
  • Confident communication skills and a strong customer service focus
  • Good IT and data entry skills, ideally with CAFM experience
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
  • A proactive, organised, and team-focused approach
