We're proud to be supporting a national Facilities Management business in their search for a proactive Helpdesk Administrator to join their busy service team based in Runcorn. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and is looking to build a career within FM., As the Helpdesk Administrator, you'll act as the central point of contact for all planned and reactive maintenance queries across multiple client sites. You'll play a key role in ensuring engineers are deployed efficiently and jobs are managed through to completion. Duties include:
- Handling incoming calls and emails regarding maintenance requests
- Logging jobs onto the CAFM system and updating job status
- Liaising with engineers, subcontractors, and site teams
- Scheduling planned and reactive works
- Raising purchase orders and ensuring compliance documentation is captured
- Providing regular updates to clients and internal teams
- Producing reports and keeping accurate records
Requirements
- Experience within a facilities management helpdesk or similar fast-paced admin role
- Confident communication skills and a strong customer service focus
- Good IT and data entry skills, ideally with CAFM experience
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
- A proactive, organised, and team-focused approach
