Experteer Overview In this role you will lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of ML/AI solutions for business and client use cases. You will manage AI engineering workstreams, ensuring quality and timely delivery. You’ll develop data pipelines and production-grade components to support AI-enabled products, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions. You will also coach junior practitioners and monitor model performance to improve reliability and scalability. This is a chance to shape AI capabilities within Deloitte’s Government & Public Services practice and drive impact for public sector clients. Compensation / Benefits * Lead design, development, testing, and deployment of machine learning and AI solutions for client use cases * Manage AI engineering workstreams; assign work, review deliverables, ensure quality and timeliness * Develop and oversee data pipelines, model training workflows, and production-grade application components * Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, product stakeholders, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions * Coach and mentor junior practitioners; monitor model and application performance to improve accuracy, reliability, and scalability Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in a related quantitative field * 7+ years of professional experience * 5+ years designing, developing, or deploying ML/AI/advanced analytics solutions * 3+ years programming in Python, PySpark, PyTorch, and TensorFlow * 2+ years technology consulting in State or Local Government * 2+ years leading technical teams or workstreams for AI/ML delivery * 1+ years experience with AI technologies such as Gemini, Anthropic, OpenAI * Active certification in Python, PySpark, PyTorch, and TensorFlow * Willingness to travel ~20% * Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship Key requirements *
